DOUBTING FATHER
Her father, Ranchi, was initially sceptical of her ambition to be a top archer. "From where I come from, people do not know about archery," she said. "So when my father heard I wanted to pick up archery, he was not very happy. But I was determined. I was the first even in the extended family to play any sport. My mother is conservative and was against my decision. But now they - my parents and my younger sister - are genuinely proud of me."
